Alfa University College (AUC), formerly known as Alif Creative Academy, was established on June 3, 1999, with the aim of providing a learning space for Malaysian students passionate about the arts. In December 2009, it was officially renamed Alfa University College and relocated from Paramount Garden, Petaling Jaya, to Subang Square, Selangor. The new campus, situated just 8 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur city center (KLCC), is part of the renowned university district, hosting several prominent universities such as Taylor's University, INTI International University, Multimedia University, Sunway University, and more.

Alfa University is renowned for its arts programs and holds a significant position in Malaysia. In 2015, the university received ISO international quality certification, boasting a 95% employment rate for its graduates.

The Executive President of Alfa University College is Professor Dr. Abdul Malek A. Tambi, appointed by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. Dr. Tambi serves as a senior member of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) review panel and is associated with various SSCI and SCOPUS journal editorial boards.

Alfa University College comprises five faculties and one language center, offering 68 full-time diploma, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programs in the following disciplines:

1. College of Creative Arts: Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Creative Multimedia, Fine Arts, Dance, Music Performance, Visual Communication, Animation, Fashion Design, Architecture.

2. College of Social Sciences and Humanities: Media Studies, Education, Sports Science, Psychology, English as a Second Language Education, Law.

3. College of Economics, Management, and Accounting: Business Administration, E-Commerce, Human Resource Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Accounting, Economics.

4. College of Information and Technology: Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence, Network Technology, High-Performance Computing, Software Technology).

5. College of Science and Engineering: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Civil Engineering.

Welcomes nearly 3,000 students

The university's Language Center welcomes nearly 3,000 students from around the world each year. Through the Pacific Language Institute of Culture (PLIC), students enter various universities in Malaysia. PLIC also administers the Language Foundation Course for the National University of Malaysia, allowing students to directly enter professional courses without the need for IELTS scores.
